Takabar - I am not sure how one can translate that, it can mean " be proud " or "be elevated " in this context...while takabara usually means to be haughty, but not here...
A beautiful song by Omaima Khalil, with Marcel Khalifeh. I think the poetry is that of Mahmoud Darwish, (the late) Palestinian poet -- but I am not 100% sure...
I would like to translate it, to compare and contrast with the garbage of a singer I have on my other blog...maybe I will do it later...
